HARRISBURG – Rep. Donna Scheuren (R-Montgomery) today announced that Encore Experience at Harleysville has received a $2,551 grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Aging to fund projects that will benefit residents.
The grant is part of the $1 million appropriated for Senior Community Centers to fund smaller needs and improvements to programs for the recipient.
“I am pleased to see Encore Experience at Harleysville receive this grant,” said Scheuren. “This grant will allow them to fund projects that they expressed a need for and help their residents through expanded programs and improved access.”
The funding for these grants is appropriated by the General Assembly through proceeds from the Pennsylvania Lottery.
